01. The Challenge
Lost Users within a Template Interface
Although Audix is known for its high-quality products, its template-based site didn’t reflect the same caliber of professionalism. An even bigger pain point for users was the site’s navigation–finding the right product first required a deep understanding of the products and the industry, leaving new users out in the cold. Finally, Audix wanted to decrease the number of clunky plug-ins on their site, integrating their ecommerce platform to build something that was more custom-suited for their needs.
We were hitting a roadblock with what we were hoping to do with integrating eCommerce into our site and were searching for a creative solution.
02. The Solution
Elevating Design and Discoverability
Jordan Crown worked closely with Audix’s in-house team to align the site’s style with the company’s rebrand. By leveraging a dark theme and compelling textures, Jordan Crown was able to mimic the gravitas and professionalism of the Audix products on the site.
In order to increase discoverability, Jordan Crown completed extensive industry research to identify common taxonomies and jargon resulting in improved navigation and custom filtering options.
Finally, Jordan Crown implemented an ecommerce platform that integrated with the current site in order to provide a seamless shopping experience for users.
03. The Results
Refined Customer Journey
Since launching the site, users are able to experience the full Audix story as a cohesive brand. From start to finish, the site supports users’ journey from discovery through purchase and builds on Audix’s rich history of finely crafted equipment with a custom-made interface.
We really appreciate all the hard work from Jordan Crown on this website. We managed to pull off the launch in a solid amount of time.
(I honestly didn’t expect to launch it this year in the beginning, from my previous experiences launching websites)
