RIDE is one of the world’s largest battery manufacturers, specializing in safe iron phosphate batteries. With over 70% of production based in the U.S. and an apprenticeship program that provides education for underserved communities.

01. The Challenge

Building A Brand

RIDE sought out Jordan Crown because it needed help establishing its brand in a competitive industry. On their current site, users could not find information about the breadth of RIDE’s product offerings and were left without a “next step” in the sales funnel.  Importantly, a key piece of its narrative – RIDE’s focus on community and environment– was also missing, leaving users with little sense of brand familiarity.

The design truly went beyond our expectations – it’s modern, beautiful, and perfectly represents our brand.

02. The Solution

Reduced Friction, Charged Up Structure

First, we conducted a competitor analysis, which helped us compare industry trends while also carving out a space and brand identity for RIDE. With these findings, we completely restructured the site, leading with large product categories that slowly revealed more detailed product information. By filtering this information, we reduced friction in the research process for users, always giving them the opportunity to talk with a sales rep or find their dealer locator.
To support the brand narrative, we developed templated pages for each type of transit, leveraging the RIDE team’s images and renderings. This allowed us to build familiarity into the user flows while also demonstrating the product differentiators and brand messaging that set RIDE apart from competitors.

Customized Support

Finally, we built out distinct sales rep locator and dealer locator landing pages to help the RIDE team build conversions and a strong sales pipeline. By varying the user experience on these pages, we are better able to direct users to the right endpoint, ensuring that, from an admin perspective, the right people at RIDE are getting connected to incoming requests.

03. The Results

On Time and On Budget

While we are waiting for more quantitative results to come through over the next few months (stay tune for updates!), there are tangible outcomes that were a major win for the client:

  • Timeline: We hit all our major milestones and launched within the targeted launch date.
  • Budget: Avoided scope creep and kept everything within the original SOW.
